    As one of the key platforms of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology in the new engineering direction of interdisciplinary fields, the center has focused on the characteristics of interdisciplinary integration and interdisciplinary discipline construction in the new era since the initial stage of construction, integrating medical, engineering, science, design and other disciplines, and strives to build a multi-functional experimental center that integrates industry, learning and research. The experimental center is equipped with a 3C electromagnetic shielding artificial environment meteorological room, a 56 channel active noise reduction brainwave measuring instrument (international high-level equipment in the same field), a radio physiological signal (respiratory rhythm, ECG signal, photoelectric volume signal acquisition, skin electrical signal, etc.) acquisition and analysis system (international top equipment in the same field), a biological tissue oximeter (Japan OMGAFLO), a medical thermal imaging monitoring and fixed-point temperature measurement system, Workstation level data analysis and image processing computer group, etc. It can carry out research contents such as cognitive and brain science, visual environmental psychology, user behavior analysis, sports physiology, multimodal physiological system evaluation, and verification of medical engineering imaging related technologies, thus realizing the integration of comprehensive quantitative analysis and evaluation system around user perception, information feedback, environmental response, static and dynamic behavioral parameters and other factors. At present, the research direction that the Center focuses on hosting and participating in is the cognitive behavior analysis of digital images, the verification of the original design concept of interaction design, the analysis of visual psychological characteristics, the analysis of body perception and visualization, the visual evaluation system of pressure distribution, the classification research of brain wave algorithms, the optimization of sports rehabilitation therapy, and the ergonomic research and development in some product design fields. The teaching direction mainly includes AI technology and design foundation (postgraduate course) and user experience design (undergraduate course). Later, it is planned to start scientific design method I (undergraduate course of practical courses), scientific design method II (postgraduate course of practical courses), introduction to design science and other related interdisciplinary professional courses and related practical courses.
