In the afternoon of March 3, the opening ceremony of Congfeng Digital Imaging Talent Training Studio and Digital Imaging Achievement Exhibition of the International Institute of Creative Design，Shanghai University of Engineering Science of Engineering and Technology was held in the planning and exhibition hall of Shanghai Science and Technology Movie Metropolis.Cong Feng, Chinese independent documentary director, Yan Liang, secretary of the branch committee of the CPC Shanghai Cangcheng Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd., and Wu Zhaoping, chairman of Rongyuan Cultural and Creative Park; Zhang Yuqing, Director of the Personnel Department of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Gu Yi, President of the International Institute of Creative Design, and representatives of teachers and students attended the event.The event was hosted by Ma Jianjian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Art and Design, Shanghai University of Engineering Science.
At the meeting, Director Zhang Yuqing made a speech and proposed that the Congfeng Digital Image Talent Training Studio, sponsored by Shanghai University of Engineering Science by the International Institute of Creative Design, adhered to the policy of combining culture and education, introduced industry mentors, promoted the development of digital media and digital image design, and responded to the national plan to vigorously develop the digital economy and digital culture and innovation.
Dean Gu Yi said that with the strong support of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the school, the series of workshops of Congfeng Digital Image Studio were successfully held. This exhibition shows more than 20 excellent video works of the workshop, which is the exploration of contemporary college students on digital media art practice and the concentrated embodiment of the teaching results of the workshop.
Director Cong Feng expressed his gratitude for the organization and support of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, especially the International Institute of Creative Design. He also gained a lot in the process of communicating with his classmates. He hoped that the students would come and create more works with the care of the times and aesthetic pursuit.
During the activity, Director Zhang Yuqing and Director Cong Feng jointly unveiled the digital imaging talent training studio for Cong Feng. Dean Gu Yi awarded director Cong Feng a letter of appointment for the distinguished professor of the International Institute of Creative Design. Xu Rongrong, vice president of the International Institute of Creative Design, and Yan Liang, secretary of the branch committee of the CPC Shanghai Cangcheng Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd. signed an agreement on industry-university cooperative education base.
Finally, under the leadership of the staff, the participants visited the planning exhibition hall of Shanghai Science and Technology Film Metropolis, Shengqiang Film and Television Base, etc.
