On the morning of December 31, 2025, Wang Qiang and Liu Dan, Deputy Directors of PUDONG LIBRARY, visited the International Institute of Creative Design.
The delegation first toured the laboratories of the institute's three major programs and observed the Product Design student exhibition. Wang Qiang expressed appreciation for the innovative thinking and practical capabilities demonstrated in the students' works.
Subsequently, both sides held a symposium. Fan Rong presented the institute's achievements in creative design education and social service. Wang Qiang stated that PUDONG LIBRARY is actively expanding the outreach of its public cultural services and looks forward to collaborating with the institute on creative reading promotion, digital exhibition hall development, and AI education popularization. The two parties focused on exploring possibilities for jointly organizing digital painting creative exhibitions, AIGC training courses, and industry-academia-research projects in the future.
In his concluding remarks, Li Yunxian noted that this exchange has opened new avenues for collaborative talent cultivation between the library and the institute, with strong complementary resources and broad prospects for cooperation. He looks forward to joint substantive projects that will contribute to Shanghai's development as a global design capital and a culturally vibrant city.
