On the morning of April 25, the International Institute of Creative Design held an event titled Siqi Lecture Series: Integrating Curriculum Ideology and Politics with Innovative Teaching Models into Instructional Design Practice – A Case Study of 'Fundamentals of Two-Dimensional Form' in Conference Room 1009 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building. The lecture was delivered by Associate Professor Yu Feng, a multiple teaching competition awardee, and attracted extensive participation from faculty members both within and beyond the institute through online and offline channels.

Associate Professor Yu Feng elaborated on the key reforms and innovations in the Fundamentals of Two-Dimensional Form course, sharing insights gained from participating in the Young Faculty Teaching Competition and the NDTC. She illustrated these points with a teaching demonstration featuring selected segments from her competition entries. During the interactive session, faculty members engaged in productive discussions on topics such as the translation of teaching outcomes into practical applications.

This edition of the Siqi Lecture Series served as a key component of the college's Teaching Innovation Month program. The institute will further advance the quality of education through upcoming activities including the Xingzhi Forum and model teaching observation sessions.
