On April 3 at 12:30 PM, the Product Design Department of the International Institute of Creative Design held a specialized teaching seminar in Office 918 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building. The meeting brought together faculty members including Fan Rong, Liu Ying, Chu Xufang, Liu Hongjiang, Zhao Yueyang, and Fu Kaili for in-depth discussions.
The seminar focused on key aspects of Sino-Korean cooperative education, including teaching content coordination, course effectiveness evaluation, and quality enhancement strategies. During the chaired session by Professor Fan Rong, faculty shared teaching experiences and case studies. Professor Zhao Yueyang proposed enterprise collaboration for real-world projects to foster student development through practical learning. Professor Chu Xufang suggested integrating design competition topics into curricula to stimulate creativity and competitive awareness.
Foundation course instructors Liu Ying and Liu Hongjiang recommended organizing intra-class design exhibitions and joint showcases to enhance student engagement. Regarding evaluation systems, faculty advocated for diversified assessment methods to comprehensively reflect student progress and competencies. For practical teaching components, consensus emerged on implementing a project-driven + team collaboration model that incorporates authentic enterprise cases, establishing a complete instructional cycle from creative proposal - prototype development - achievement presentation.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the participating faculty collectively developed an action plan for the next phase, which includes optimizing the curriculum structure, strengthening university-enterprise collaboration, and exploring the feasibility of centralized experimental teaching. All attendees unanimously expressed their commitment to leveraging the outcomes of this seminar to further enhance teaching quality and jointly strive to cultivate more outstanding talents in product design.
