On the afternoon of April 7, the Department of Visual Communication Design under the International Institute of Creative Design convened a mobilization meeting for its 2025 Field Research and Internship program in Room 809 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building. The meeting was attended by Deputy Department Head Ning Shujia, course instructors Wang Zhi and Wang Guanyi, as well as all undergraduate students of the Class of 2024 majoring in Visual Communication Design. The session was chaired by Wang Zhi.

At the meeting, Professor Wang Zhi introduced the overall arrangement for the upcoming field research, clarifying the course objectives, fieldwork content, and assignment requirements. He emphasized the paramount importance of safety—covering personal security, property, and dietary matters—and stressed the need to strictly adhere to discipline and follow the instructions of the leading faculty to ensure the smooth progress of the field activities.
Following this, Professor Ning Shujia reiterated the critical importance of safety awareness and encouraged the students to approach the fieldwork with a rigorous attitude. She advised them to focus on teamwork and on-site observation, actively gather material, and enhance their comprehensive competence and professional skills.
The mobilization meeting successfully raised students' awareness of safety issues related to the field research course and laid a solid foundation for the upcoming practical activities. It is believed that with the Institute's meticulous organization and the joint efforts of both faculty and students, this field research will achieve the expected outcomes.
