On April 18 at 1:00 PM, the Department of Digital Media Art under the International Institute of Creative Design held a discussion meeting in Room J910 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building to revise the 2025 training plan for the Digital Media Art (Sino-Korean Cooperation) program. This session was convened to further advance the reform of undergraduate education and teaching, continuously refine the educational framework, cultivate digital media innovation talents, and implement the university's 2025 Training Plan Revision Initiative.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Xian Yan, with President Gu Yi, Korean faculty representatives, department chairs, and academic secretaries in attendance.

Professor Xian began by outlining the guiding principles, revision criteria, timeline, and operational requirements for this round of curriculum plan updates. With reference to national standards for Digital Media Art programs, and building upon prior research, expert consultations, and student feedback, she highlighted key revision priorities—including clarifying program development objectives, strengthening specialized practical tracks, optimizing course sequencing, consolidating overlapping curricula, and refining credit structures.

The Korean faculty representatives presented their course offerings and, addressing the challenge of meeting the four one-third requirement for Sino-foreign cooperative programs, both sides conducted repeated assessments and jointly proposed a optimized curriculum framework. Department leads further engaged in in-depth discussions regarding course design, teaching implementation, and curricular coherence.

Following the presentations and deliberations, President Gu Yi emphasized that the training plan revision is not only a crucial component of the university’s educational reform, but also a core mission to enhance program quality and ensure the caliber of talent development. He stressed that the revisions must strictly align with professional accreditation standards for Sino-foreign cooperative education, while also fully incorporating cutting-edge disciplinary trends, industry needs, and diverse student development pathways.

This revision lays an important foundation for continuously deepening the curriculum system of the Sino-foreign cooperative program and improving the quality of talent cultivation.
