On the afternoon of March 20, the International Institute of Creative Design convened its 2025 Postgraduate Symposium in Room 805 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean Fan Rong, Counselor Li Zhihai, Graduate Secretary Wang Guanyi, and postgraduate student representatives. The session was chaired by Vice Dean Fan Rong.

During the symposium, student representatives actively contributed suggestions based on their academic and daily life experiences, putting forward multiple targeted proposals. Regarding teaching resources, they recommended enhancing the management of laboratory opening hours, increasing practical opportunities, and improving operational and application skills. In terms of curriculum development, they suggested promoting interdisciplinary team-teaching, expanding the scope of industry-academia collaboration, fostering disciplinary integration, and strengthening practical capabilities. Specific recommendations were also made concerning lifestyle services, including dormitory management.
The attending faculty carefully listened to the students' opinions and provided responses on aspects such as talent development, academic support, and living conditions, outlining directions for improvement. The Institute will continue to pay close attention to students' growth needs, dynamically monitor their academic and living situations, focus on key concerns, address issues with precision, and continuously enhance the quality of postgraduate education and its educational outcomes.
