On March 21 at 12:30 PM, the International Institute of Creative Design conducted a fire safety open class in Room 1030 of the Co-Op Comprehensive Building on its Changning Campus. The session was presided over by Fu Jia, Deputy Director of the Central Laboratory.

During the open class, Fu Jia drew upon recent fire incidents from various regions, utilizing extensive video materials and real-case analyses to clearly explain the causes, hazards, and daily preventive measures of fires. He particularly emphasized key aspects such as laboratory electrical safety and methods for evacuation and self-rescue.

During the interactive session, faculty members actively discussed how to remain calm in emergencies and scientifically execute self-rescue during fire incidents, thereby acquiring substantial practical fire safety knowledge.

This fire safety open class not only raised awareness of fire prevention among the faculty but also effectively enhanced their capabilities for self-rescue and mutual aid in the event of a sudden fire. Institute leadership emphasized that fire safety is vital to the lives and property of every teacher and student, and expressed the hope that continued activities of this kind will help foster a safe and harmonious campus environment.

Looking ahead, the International Institute of Creative Design will continue to strengthen fire safety education and awareness, consistently improving the ability of both faculty and students to respond to fire risks, thereby providing a solid foundation for building a safe campus.
