On November 7, 2024, Ms. Bao Wenhan, the corporate mentor of Shanghai Chigou Creative Studio, walked into the classroom of Character Design at the International Creative Design Institute and gave a wonderful lecture on Analysis of IP Character Setting Cases to the students. Teacher Bao Wenhan is the manager of Red Dog Creative Company and graduated from China Academy of Art. With over 15 years of experience in IP brand services, I have led the design department of PANCOAT/Sesame Street brands under Hongfang Culture and served as the creative director for several leading IP companies such as Tom Cat brand under Jinko Culture Group. We specialize in IP brand building, product trend planning, IP reshaping solutions and image library planning, IP authorization design services, and other professional fields, with rich practical experience and unique industry insights.
Teacher Bao's lecture focused on the theme of Comprehensive Analysis of IP Role Setting, starting from key aspects such as Memory Focus and Emotional Communication, and provided a detailed and in-depth explanation of the overall IP brand process and methods. She combined her rich project experience to demonstrate to her classmates how to accurately locate the memory focus of IP characters, making them stand out among numerous images, and how to establish a deep emotional connection between IP characters and audiences through effective emotional communication strategies.
This lecture not only provided students with a deep understanding of the professional knowledge and practical operation methods of IP role setting, but also broadened their creative horizons and stimulated their enthusiasm for exploring innovation in the field of digital media creative design. Classmates deeply realize that a successful IP character is not just an image, but also a carrier that can convey emotions and carry cultural values.
