At 12:30 noon on March 28th, the International Institute of Creative Design held a series of laboratory safety education activities at the C415 Art Building of the Songjiang Campus. First year graduate students from the International Institute of Creative Design participated in a series of safety education activities, which were hosted by Fu Jia, the deputy director of the laboratory.
Under the guidance of the School Asset and Laboratory Management and Security Office, the International Institute of Creative Design regularly holds laboratory safety education lectures. Teacher Fu emphasized the hazards of fires, how to prevent fire accidents, and evacuation methods and routes. Intended to help students understand the hazards of fires, cultivate awareness and skills of self rescue and mutual assistance, and improve their ability to respond to sudden fire incidents.
In order to further enhance the emergency response capabilities of students and comprehensively enhance their awareness of fire safety, an emergency drill for a fire accident was conducted based on the evacuation and evacuation drill plan formulated by the college, starting from the actual safety work of the college. Its purpose is to verify the feasibility of the evacuation and escape drill plan and the degree to which it conforms to the actual situation; Identify potential issues and deficiencies in this plan for timely improvement; Enable each student to master the basic methods of fire escape, improve self-protection awareness and self rescue ability. For this drill, specific arrangements were made in the plan regarding time, location, content, and target audience.
This activity is an important part of the annual laboratory safety education series organized by the college. Through learning, both new and old students can have a more comprehensive understanding of laboratory construction and safety, and their ability to respond to emergencies has been improved, laying a solid foundation for creating a safe and harmonious campus.
