On the afternoon of March 26th, at the invitation of Bock Technology Group Co., Ltd., professional teachers from the Visual Communication Design Department of the International Institute of Creative Design participated in an application experience salon activity in the Game+ education and training scenario under the leadership of department head Yang Yuan.
The main theme of this salon is to explore the potential and practice of gamified learning in the field of education and training, guiding participants to experience the Lost Alpha desktop game, understand the design methods of gamified teaching, and think about how to solve various tasks and challenges in teaching management through game experience.
The teachers of the Visual Communication Design Department of the International Institute of Creative Design actively collaborate during the game process, actively explore and discuss the problems and difficulties that need to be faced. After nearly 2 hours of the game process, they deeply understand the design of the game system and the core components of the game mechanism. The activity not only provided teachers with fun during the gaming process, but also allowed them to understand common problem-solving strategies in life and work, and deeply appreciate the connotation of gamification in education.
This experience salon starts from the perspective of game+education, highlighting the functional features of the game. Bok City has been actively exploring the field of gaming+in recent years, creating multiple highly functional game design products from various aspects such as education, healthcare, and safety. This salon activity is not only a gaming experience activity, but also guides professional teachers in their educational and teaching ideas and research directions from the perspective of gamified design.
