In order to deepen the integration of industry and education, and expand disciplinary practice, the International Institute of Creative Design specially invited our alumni, Mr. Yang Ling, the founder of COMET STUDIO, to give a unique lecture on the basic course of photography and videography taught by Mr. Liu Hongjiang in the afternoon of March 27, 2024. The theme of this lecture is Digital Photography Pilots - FPV Aerial Photography Images.
In this lecture, Professor Yang Ling, with her accumulated profound industry knowledge and practical experience, deeply analyzed the importance of combining photography technology with digital media art and the development prospects of both. At the same time, he also provided students with a detailed introduction to cutting-edge photography equipment such as FPVs (first person perspective), walkthrough cameras, mainstream motion cameras (such as GoPro), and emphasized the safety regulations and related document requirements for drone use. In order to allow students to more intuitively experience the charm of FPV aerial photography, Teacher Yang Ling has carefully prepared many exciting cases of the combination of domestic and foreign aircraft racing videos and digital media art fields with FPV, allowing students to have a deeper understanding of the application and integration of photography technology and digital media art in the industry.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Yang Ling also showcased the driving process of the FPV and the camera footage of the machine on site, combining his years of experience in aerial photography and the use of the aircraft. Through vivid and interesting demonstrations, students experienced the unique charm of FPV aerial photography up close. Subsequently, Teacher Yang combined his campus life at our school and shared his valuable learning and life experiences with his classmates, encouraging them to lay a solid foundation, explore the industry with courage, and clarify their future career goals and directions.
